Kites

Liquid Force Solo v2 12m (2016) – I love this kite and it gives me an awesome wind range and packs up smaller than my other kites as it has only one strut. Not only does it pack up smaller but this minimalist design also means a huge weight reduction. More kites 😀

Liquid Force NV 10.5m (2017) – This kite is my favorite kite to ride everyday. It is fast turning and performs really well in all conditions. I have owned almost every Envy (in the past the model was called Envy) since the 2013 model and LF have jumped leaps and bounds each year.

Liquid Force Envy 8m (2015)  – So much fun this little thing. It always feels like it takes 20 pumps and it ready to go.

Liquid Force Mission Control Bar (2017) – I love how simple this bar is and the de-power can be controlled with one finger. Plus this bar weighs next to nothing so makes it perfect for traveling.

Board

Best Spin 139×42 (2015) – This board is old and battered but it always gets me on the water where ever I am in the world. I am looking at new boards at the moment so this old work horse will be soon handed onto someone who needs it.

Other Bits

Ride Engine Hex-Core Harness (2016) – I have tried many harnesses and this is by far my favorite. Only down side to it is that it is a little bulky due to its hard back plate. I tend to place it at the foot of my kite bag.

Liquid Force 2L Tall Pump (2017) – The best pump on the market I think. I love how skinny and tall it is. Saves my back and everyone on the beach loves using it as it comes with all the attachments and it is so easy to use. I pump my kites one handed with this thing.

Luggage

Liquid Force Golf Bag (2017) – A great bag that says ‘golf’ on it. It has paid for itself twice now.

American Tourister Curio (55cm) – This is a great bag with a 10 year warranty and is the perfect carry on bag.

Dakhla - Ken

My name is Ken and I love to kite and travel the world to experience the best conditions this planet has to offer. I am from Australia and have worked in manufacturing and tech startups all my life and now searching for that perfect kiting location. I created this blog to let others know where to go, where to stay and what type of kiting conditions they will experience when traveling to these locations. More about it here
